Mernah, Daniel P. "Mad Dog" Passed away suddenly on
July 31, 2009 at the age of 56 years. Beloved husband of Kim Mernah. Devoted
son of the late John Mickï and the late Anna Mae Mernah. Loving dad of
William Johnson and Robert Kron. Cherished brother of John (Sally), Patrick
(Mary), Kathy (Jim) Bromeier, Mike, Maureen Wheeler, and Colleen (Scott)
Johnson. Beloved son-in-law of Barb Johnson. Danny will be dearly missed by his
many nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many friends. A celebration of
Dan's life will be held Saturday 1 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge
Chapel. Memorial visitation Saturday 11 am- 1 pm at the funeral home. Dan was
the founder of High Rollers and was a passionate sportsman who loved rugby,
football and horse racing. In lieu of flowers, memorials to benefit youth rugby
appreciated at www.usrugbyfoundation.org
Danny's love of friendship, charm and gregarious nature will be deeply missed
by all who knew him. Mad Dog continued his love of rugby to the end, helping organize a trip to watch the USA Eagles play Wales in Chicago at Toyota Park.
