Many of the Milwaukee Harlequins wrapped up a 10 week training program at NX Level Fitness a Waukesha based athletic performance facility. The Harlequins were given all that they could handle by personal trainer Matt Gifford who trained the participants to their limits. The NX Level facility was an ideal set up for the off-season training that the Harlequins were looking for. With a short track area and 40 yard field turf the team was able to work on speed, quickness, and core strength as well as mix in some full contact work. The program was so successful that long time Harlequin lock Chris “Otto” Kenth was able to shave 2/10’s of a second off of his 40 yard dash and was clocked at a blistering 6.4 seconds to close out the workouts. All of the participants really enjoyed Gifford’s in-depth sports knowledge and how to apply it to your training and they are all looking forward to being a step ahead of their competition this spring.
