On the eve of our fall season scrimmage it was time to put our livers to the test and do some damage on the town.
We started at our familar watering hole, The Sin Bin, to warm things up with some graciously provided Jamison shots from the bar. There were about 25of us and over the course of the night we met up with another dozen or so others.
By the time we made it through that bottle along with whatever other
concoctions were on the agenda for the night our bus had arrived. We
began our decent on the debauchery that would follow.
Onward to the
Jock Stop, owned by our very own old boy Bitzer. After polishing off a
few $2 double mixers and throwing a few jams on the jukebox we made our
way onto the bus for some rugby songs and a delivery to Derry's Pub.
To be honest this is where the night really started getting fuzzy for
most of us (or at least me).
We threw down a few pints and continued
to enjoy ourselves. It was back onto the bus, sang a few more songs
and headed downtown to Bootleggers where our front row party man
Hoffenberg runs the show. At this point I am not even sure what did
and didn't happen.
Well maybe a few things I remember.
- The hot dog
stand outside the bar was well visited by the team.
- The bridemaids
with lollypops who we met on the dance floor should have been paying us
(well Danny) instead of the other way around.
- I still can't
remember I'm On A Boat being played the three times Hoff said it was
played during the time we were there.
Somehow we managed to organize
ourselves at the end of the night to get back on the bus and make it
back to the Bin to close the night out. To be honest the pictures
probably tell a better story than this so enjoy putting the pieces
together on the night!
